Mámi Cocktails is a bar, named after a near-mythical aunt in the owners’ family history. Bold, flamboyant, and unapologetic. Our brand direction is to own this larger-than-life figure. Don’t call her a mascot. Call her Mámi.
The monogram forms the curves of Mámi’s hairdo and is the basis of all our designs.

BRAND IDENTITY
Mámi Display is our bespoke solution for Mámi Cocktails project. Expressive and almost illustrative, inspired by the curves of Mámi’s hairdo, and what we imagined she’d sound like, if she were alive today.

SPATIAL DESIGN
Inspired by the brand personality of Mámi, we envisioned a kitchen and bar that captures her vibrant spirit in District 2, a rare walkable neighborhood in Vietnam. The facade also features a slight curve inspired by Mámi’s hair.

Capitalizing on the potential of the facade, we maximized the connection between the bar and the street. This creates an open and inviting atmosphere, drawing in the neighborhood.
To enhance the sense of spaciousness within this intimate setting, we designed a high ceiling with skylight windows and awning windows for the exterior.
