THE MUJI BOX
A display unit that reflects MUJI’s design values, functionality and interactivity. Taking the form of the MUJI book, by Kenya Hara.
Like any other MUJI product, the Box is simple at first glance but highly functional.
The MUJI Box is a movable display unit that converts between a display and storage space, conceived as an extension to MUJI’s existing display systems. Equipped with two doors that open vertically and horizontally, the box can transform into two distinct display zones. Only takes 1 person to operate.

Everyday Items for a Thoughtful Living Exhibition
The MUJI Box made its debut in Everyday Items for a Thoughtful Living, a traveling exhibition across Vietnam. The openings of the doors created sections to showcase items At Home, At Work, and On the Road.
An additional box display system, made from cork and taking cues from urban buildings, was used to highlight the materials incorporated into the products.
